Delicious and early-ripening salad tomato which makes perfect slicing for adding to mozzarella and basil salads drenched in olive oil. F1 hybrid status ensure vigorous and prolific plants.
Sowing indoors: Fill a seed tray with seed compost and scatter tomato seeds thinly over the surface. Cover the seeds with a thin covering of the seed compost. Place in a warm environment 18-20C (65-70F) and keep the soil moist.
Keep seedlings in a light position but avoid direct sun. When seedlings have three to four leaves transplant seedlings individually to small 7.5cm (3in) pots filled with potting-on compost and keep in an environment of 15C (60F).
Planting out
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions for two to three weeks before planting out to permanent outdoor planting positions after the risks of frost have passed. Allow 60cm (24in) between plants.
Harvest from July-September.
Please note: Train plants up canes, string or wires. Remove the side-shoots as they appear. They appear in the armpits' of the main stem and the main side branches. Nip them out with finger and thumb, or snips.
Water regularly and consistently in mornings or evenings, or both mornings and evenings during particularly warm spells. Feed with a liquid fertiliser high in potash when the first flowers form.
Sow: January - May
